Grandchildren:

A new picture of my granddaughter (27 months) building with blocks.  OK, wood, (Haba), but give her time.

An old  picture of my son, Ted, and his daughter, Hazel (17 months old).  They live in Seattle, WA, USA, which is "geek heaven".

My twin granddaughters, about 10 months old.

Joanna and Emily, 10 months old

Emily is trying out the "My dad's a geek" shirt.

Ted and the three children.

Cats:

After I got home from the CVA meeting in late October, 2009, I decided to get some cats.  My two elderly cats died during the summer.  I decided to adopt some younger cats, because the loss of six cats in six years was just too hard.  So I got three cats from Caring for Creatures, a local no-kill animal shelter.  I will add pictures to this page soon, but they are still adjusting to their new home.

Apollo II:  I got a new cat in June, 2015.  He looks like Apollo, which accounts for his name.

To refresh your memory, below is a picture of Apollo.

Tory:  She is a neutered female about 6½ years old.  She is a typical Russian silver gray (about 15 lbs or 6¾ kg); she is smoke grey, with very faint, residual markings.

Danson:  He was born at Caring for Creatures 5½ years ago.  He is an altered male, black and white coloring -- sort of like a panda.  He has a bobtail and very soft, thick fur.  That makes him a Japanese bobtail cat.  About 15 lbs or 6¾ kg.  Danson knows his name.
