Made by Bill Lucas, as Christmas present for his son Andrew Lucas
Anchor sets in chests like this one were sold by the Anchor factory
from 1880 until the present day. The exterior design changed over the
decades, becoming steadily more modern, but the interior layout remained
constant. Sets NF 28, NF 34, DS 28 and others were available "im Schrank".
I purchased from the new factory an AF Grosse Burg im Schrank.

The drawer layout is the same one used by the Richter factory. The availability of plywood and aluminum rails should make modern chests much more sturdy,
but no firm claims can be made for at least 50 and perhaps 100 years.
