Two models by AV Falk Gundel are shown below. One was built with a NF 20 (1,414 stones) and the other with a NF 26 (2,290 stones). I am posting these two models of the same church to illustrate the impact of more stones and a larger selection of stones.
First, the NF 26 model. I built it, though this photograph comes with the layer plans. Once again, let me admit that I cheated, starting with the first red layer.

This model was built with a NF 20. I built it, without cheating, using a NF 20. I had a NF 20 picked out of my loose stone collection (so I could test the design drawings by Burkhard Schulz). The construction was difficult, but not impossible.

The first of the pages of layer plans available on the Internet. Note the interior dimension of 30 cm (one foot). The 12 stone dimension is very useful, as a squared first layer is half the battle when building an Anchor structure. (OK, it also helps in real construction.)

Just a reminder of what the original church looked like (before WWII).
