DS 27 -- im Schrank

This winter there have been some wonderful offerings on ebay.de.  The buyer of the DS set sent me some pictures of his purchase.  What a wonderful set!  Like new!  The quality of the chest -- both the woodworking and the wood itself --makes me think that the chest was made between 1911 - 1914.

The "A.-G." on the label shows that the label was printed after 1921.

This set was made by the Richter company in 1890.  It is a GK-AF # 23 (25).  The set # 21A was too large so an intermediate # 21A was created in 1892 and the old # 23 was "promoted" to # 25.  The set came with 22 plan books, plus the associated layer plan books.  The set is described in the MLB vol. 16, # 1, pages 24 & 25, 1995.
