Three Designs
by Wolfgang Fichtner, Hartha, Germany

One of the unknown attractions in the Hartha area.  A museum for Anchor Stones (Ankersteinkunde).  A needed and worthy addition to any area.  If you cannot find it, you should visit Wolfgang Fichtner and see his many beautiful photographs of the exhibits.

Another photograph of the  museum.  The tour bus shows that Anchor is an important attraction.  I hope to see similar buses at the Richter Villa.  The columns are not Anchor, but turned wood.  Wolfgang is not an Anchor purest.

Not a local attraction.  This Italian Bell Tower (Italienischer Glockenturm) is most attractive.  It is the Campanile.  The two color arches are beautiful.  The factory made such arches, but I have not seen them before.

A close up shows an interesting contrast with Dieter Wellmann's northern German City gate.  Leo and I have seen a number of northern German gates in our wanderings through northeast Germany.  ((Bild Campanile zeigt den Kontrast zum norddeutschen Stadttor von Dieter Wellmann.)

A closer look at the UFO base.  (Amt für extraterrestrische Besucher, UFO-Basis)  Leo and I missed this attraction, but we are more interested in Anchor than alien space travelers (who probably don't know much about Anchor blocks).

The work place for "Men in Black".  (Arbeitsstätte der MIB - Men in Black)  It is interesting that the MIB seem to have chosen the front end of a Rolls for their personal transportation.

This picture shows the spaceport with the roof retracted, for a UFO take-off.  Far better than a runway.  (Bild MIB zeigt das für einen UFO-Start geöffnete Dach.)

Wolfgang Fichtner with his wife and son.  I am on the right.  Leo took the picture.  She is a professional baker and our gift was baked goods.  Oh well.
