Building from Set # 6A only
by Chad Bunnell

Sometimes e-mail brings the most surprising news.  We all know how difficult it is to build an interesting building from set # 6.  Well, Chad Bunnell <brad.bun@prodigy.net>, a sculptor who works in bronze, bought a set # 6A because it has more stones than set # 6 and because he felt that the longer beams offered more building possibilities.

I am not sure just how to take this heresy.  One must start with set # 6!  There is no choice, no option.  That is the way the Richter Anchor system works.  Well, not for Chad.

At the end of the Anchor pictures, I have included a few pictures of his chandelier.

The open roof is somewhat of a surprise, but a very clever way of making a large building with a limited stone inventory.

The bronze chandelier is now in Paris.

Amazing as it seems, the entire chandelier weighs only 125 lbs (about 57 kilo).

This 16th Century farmhouse, near Strasbourg, is owned by the person who commissioned the chandelier.
