The Schloss Belvedere

built by AV P. Szemberle

Schloss Belvedere and its park were designed and built by P.M. Boumann in 1785-1786, Prince Ferdinand, the youngest brother of "Old Fritz".  The building, in the style of early neoclassicism, was built around a courtyard.  The Schloss was formerly a prince's residence, a museum, a government guest house.  Today it is the home of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Heilandskirche

built by AV R.J. Koch

This church is found in Potsdam, not in Berlin.  (There is a different church of the same name in Berlin.)  I have not been find a lot of information on the church on the web, but it seems to date from 1845.  Known as the "Sacrower Heilandskirche" the church tower was used by Graf von Arco as an antenna tower for his early experiments on wireless telegraphic transmission.  The "gallery" shown on the Heilandskirche web page shows some nice pictures, both old and new.
