Landhaus # 303, page 16

Built by me, but designed by J.H.S. Jones in 1944.  His entrance  design is very nice.

As you can see, there is no entrance in the original view of this design.  The Landhaus sets include wooden roofs, wooden railings and windows.

Roughly the same view.  The window caused the picture to be too dark.

The connection roof parts were not present in set 303, but clearly were planned for set 303A.  The windows in the tower were selected by AV Jones.  The design in the MLB had the entrance here, through the tower, like a church.

The opposite view, so everything is a Jones design.

A better look at the entrance.

Support of the roof is necessary to have it remain in place.

The wooden roof has been replaced by stones.  I do not have red 3:4 slope stones, so I mixes 1:1 and 1:2 to get the desires roof height.  Also note that the slope of the side roof has to be 1:1, and stones connecting these two roof slopes were never made by Richter.

I put the small (# 79R) corner posts on the tower platform.  All in all the experience with this model reconfirmed my preference for all stone construction.
