Details of the Model

This section is really for Anchor builders.  One reason it took Hans Ludwig so much time to build this large model is that he used many non-Anchor techniques -- paint, cut stones, impossible angles.

Note the cut arches and the three-notch cornices.  The triple arch in the lower right is also "custom".

The arches are cut.  I assume that the figure is supposed to be Martin Luther.

The double arch section is painted, as are the triple arch sections to either side.

Lavish use of cut stones and paint!  The arch is cut also.  Is that a "Roman series" stone in the center column?

This projecting window is well done.  Note that the angled edges of the arches allows slim corners.  The bottom double arch sections produce a fine lower section.
