The type of Anchor building that I enjoy most is reconstruciton of exhibition
models produced by the factory for the various fairs, which were so common
and popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This castle was built
in 1894 for an exhibition in Erfurt; we have one drawing and four photographs
of the building. The building drawn is not exactly the same as the
one photographed. I chose to build according to the drawing, not the
photographs. All sides were modified to fit with the drawing. Since
I have photographs of all four sides, you can expect to see this castle a
few more times over the next year.
You can see that the castle's height exceeded the height of the ceiling.
